Katherine Berniece Fuller, 84, of Willcox, Ariz. and formerly of Niles, died at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born March 12, 1926 in Howard Township to Claude Young and Daisy C. (Burdue) Young. She graduated from Niles High School and lived in Niles and Arizona most of her life.

She had previously been employed in food service for the Brandywine School System and area restaurants. She enjoyed casinos, knitting and the sun.

She married Orville Eugene Fuller on Dec. 1, 1945 in Niles. He died Dec. 21, 1985.

She is also preceded in death by a son, Thomas D. Fuller, who died Oct. 1, 1977; and two sisters, Mary Ann Vandenburg, who died Oct. 13, 2006; and Helen Binns.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis E. Fuller of Buchanan, Robert E. Fuller of Willcox, Ariz. and Stephen K. (Rebecca) Fuller of Niles; daughters, Patricia I. Novacek of Niles and Audrey M. (Richard) Manigold of Niles; 29 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn Dunnifin of Cassopolis, Dorothy PeGan of Cassopolis, Jean Taylor of Niles and Claudine Schaber of Statesville, N.C.; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at noon Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at Mausoleum Chapel, Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call following the service. Family and friends will gather at the Bell Building in Niles at 305 Sycamore St.
