NORTHPORT — Dolsey Lynn Squires, 41, of Northport, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 16, 2010.

Dolsey was born July 26, 1969, in Watervliet, the daughter of Harry and Cheryle (Parkey) Squires.

Dolsey loved to help people and volunteered whenever and wherever she was needed.
She would give her money or time to anybody who needed help.

Dolsey was very talented and created excellent beadwork and wood-burned collectables.
She loved working with her Aunt Donna and Uncle Jack Squires whether around the house or working on the car.

Dolsey is survived by: her father; four children, James Louis Stratton, Travis Lee Lane, Dillon Arther Lane and Cheril Lynn Lane; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Chyanna Jane Lane, and her mother.
Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Martinson Funeral Home of Suttons Bay.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, with a visitation held one hour prior, also at the funeral home.

The Rev. Thomas John will officiate. Burial will take place at 1p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles.
