Harold L. Carlisle, 78, of Cassopolis died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010 in Miller’s Merry Manor, LaGrange, Ind.
He was born June 17, 1932 in Parma, Mo. to James and Stella (Ussellton) Carlisle. He married Mary Littlepage on Feb. 25, 1950 in Parma.  She preceded him in death on May 5, 2010.
Harold was an auctioneer for several auction houses including his own, Cass Community Auction. He was a past board member of the Cass County Fair Board and constable for Calvin Township.
He is survived by two daughters, Janet (Michael) Fanning of Howe, Ind. and Theresa Coates of Cassopolis; four sons, Harold (Karen) Carlisle of Three Rivers, Ronald (Regina Anglin) Carlisle of Cassopolis, Conrad Carlisle of Howe, Ind., Kevin Carlisle of Cassopolis; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Catherine White of Edwardsburg.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Carlisle; four sisters; and three brothers.
Family and friends will gather Tuesday, Aug. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Connelly Chapel, Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis. The funeral will be Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. The Rev. David Cripps Sr. will officiate.
Interment will follow in Adamsville Cemetery, Adamsville.
