Dave Knoebber — watercolorist, art educator and radio host — will present an array of watercolors in reflection of his gardens during his 10th annual exhibit, “Watercolor Impressions,” at the Vickers Theatre and Art Gallery in Three Oaks.

Knoebber has been painting at his studio in the New Buffalo area for the past 16 years. His watercolors take you a little closer to the subject matter and each painting has a different approach to his traditional methods. He loves to give the viewer another look – a closer look — at the floral patterns and colors of the natural setting from his gardens that surround his studio.

Most of his work, when weather permits, is painted on site within the many gardens at his home and studio. He exhibits his work at local businesses from his gallery/studio, the schoolhouse shop and an annual one-person show at the Vickers Theatre.

Knoebber is the host of the radio show “Harbor Country Art Scene” broadcast weekly from WRHC 106.7 FM in Three Oaks. This program offers the listener an opportunity of hearing what is out and about in the Harbor Country art scene as well as interviews of artists and musical selections.

Knoebber’s floral landscape watercolors will be on exhibit in August at the Vickers Theatre, 6 North Elm St., Three Oaks.

A reception will be held Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.; the public is invited.
