Dowagiac wins tournament

The Dowagiac All-Stars captured the championship of the Coloma/Hagar Tournament held recently.

The team defeated South Haven 15-6, Howard Township twice by a score of 14-0 and then South Haven in the semifinals 15-4.

Dowagiac defeated Coloma in the championship game 13-2.

This was the last tournament of the year for the All-Stars, who closed the year winning 14 out of its final 17 games.
