BROOKLYN — Michigan International Speedway is making it easier for families to return to the racetrack. And the Danica Patrick “Go With Daddy” offer is just the ticket.

Kids and their dads (and moms, too!) who want to see Patrick return to racing action at MIS this summer can take advantage of the speedway’s “Danica’s Go With Daddy” ticket offer just in time for the Nationwide Series CARFAX 250 race Saturday, Aug. 14.

“For fans of Danica Patrick, this is a great opportunity to purchase this ticket package and bring your kids out to see her race against many great Sprint Cup Series drivers and Nationwide Series regulars,” MIS President Roger Curtis said. “Danica hasn’t been here since 2007 in an IRL car so it’s nice to see her return to the Irish Hills and possibly win the race for the same team that put Brad Keselowski in Gatorade Victory Lane here last season.”

Each $88 package includes two reserved adult seats and one 12 and under kids admission ticket to see the race. Kids 12 and under are free on Saturday so additional kids tickets may be requested.

Please request the number of children’s tickets at the time of purchase to ensure seating.

Each package includes one voucher for an officially licensed Danica Patrick T-shirt and MIS hat.

Vouchers can be redeemed at the Kids Rock merchandise trailer in the New Holland Fan Plaza on the day of the event.

“I’ve enjoyed racing at Michigan in the past,” Patrick said. “It’s always nice to return to a track where I’ve had some experience and know how it handles.”

The IndyCar star announced her 12-race NASCAR Nationwide Series race schedule back in January, which included the Aug. 14 CARFAX 250 at MIS. Patrick is racing in the No. 7 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for JR Motorsports and team owner Earnhardt Jr.

She will race for the same team that produced last year’s CARFAX 250 winner Brad Keselowski.

Patrick will also be competing in the CARFAX 250 in the new Nationwide Series car, which is racing at four tracks, including MIS, in 2010.

Patrick has had success at the two-mile Irish Hills oval during her IndyCar career. In three career starts from 2005-07, her best finish of seventh came during the 2007 campaign.

Additional adult tickets can also be added at regular price of $40 per adult.
