American Cancer Society Relay for Life takes place at Dowagiac Union High School APEX track for 24 hours starting Saturday, July 17, at 9 a.m. and continuing until Sunday, July 18.

• 10-10:30 a.m. – Opening ceremony and survivors lap.

Survivors take the first lap, then the Relay begins for all times to 24 hours of music provided by The Beat Goes On and Bill Craft.

• 10:30-11 a.m. – Survivors brunch.

• 11 a.m.-noon – Hair cuts for donation. Six-inch minimum/semi-permanent hair color accepted.

• Noon – Chain Lake Baptist Church Choir.

• 12:45 p.m. – Fight back lap. All members from all teams must be on the track.

• 1 p.m. – T-shirt chiller contest hosted by Keeler Church of God ($5 donation/four people per team).

• 2 p.m. – Potato sack race hosted by Rens Raiders.

• 2:30 p.m. – Hula for hope contest hosted by Keeler Church of God.

• 3 p.m. – Water balloon toss hosted by Greater Niles Stars.

• 4 p.m. – Encore School of Arts performance.

• 5 to 7 p.m. – Live auction conducted by John Suseland.

• 8 to 9 p.m. – DJ stand, music with Ryan Nichols/Center Field, corn hole tournament hosted by SMC Housing.

• 10 p.m. – Lighting of the luminary ceremony.

• 11 p.m. – Hip hop dance lessons with Frank.
Midnight – Team captain meeting.

Sunday, July 18

• 1 to 2 a.m. – karaoke hosted by Beeson Street Bar and Grill.

• 3 a.m. – Poker lap.

• 4 a.m. – Aerobics with Annabelle.

• 5 a.m. – Pie-eating contest (50 cent donation).

• 6 a.m. – Limbo.

• 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. – Church service.

• 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Closing ceremonies, final victory lap.
Food available:

• Concession stand – Sister Lakes Elementary School team.

• Beeson Street Bar/Grill team, site 18.

• Popcorn available at Re-Lei Friends for Life Team site
