Johnny Lee Nekvasil, 64, of 33123 East Highway 12, Niles died at 7 a.m. Sunday, July 11, 2010 at home in Niles of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 6, 1945 in Niles, where he was a lifetime resident. Johnny was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.

He married Dixie (Weidig) Nekvasil on May 27, 1990 in Niles.

He is survived by his wife, Dixie; son, David Nekvasil, of Niles; daughter, Tracy Nekvasil, of Niles; stepsons, Paul Fink, of Niles and Ralph Fink, of Ohio; brothers, Jim Nekvasil, of Niles and Frank Nekvasil, of Three Oaks; sister, Shirley Knight, of Milwaukee, Mich.; two grandchildren; and one-great-grandchild.

No services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
