Ralph H. Cochrane 77, of Midland, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Legends Healthcare and rehabilitation with his family by his side.

Ralph was born in Niles on Oct. 10, 1932. He was raised and educated in Niles. Ralph worked for Holvan Development for many years as an accountant, and later in retail. He moved to Texas with his brother Bob. Ralph was a corporal in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge on Dec. 31, 1960. He loved traveling, painting and photography. He was a member of Abundant Life Worship Center here in Midland.

Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Meda Jean Cochrane; son, Jerry Cochrane; and brother, Bob Cochrane.

He is survived by one daughter, Vicki Joyner; and husband, James, of Midland, Texas; two sisters, Barbara Bisby-Cochrane, of Menasha, Wis.; and Dottie Morris-Cochrane, of Mullins, S.C.

Family will be receiving friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home.

A graveside service will take place Thursday July 8, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park with Pastor Robert Clack officiating.

Funeral services are under the direction of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home.
