Athletic Jaier captured the regular season championship of the Blossomland Soccer League Tuesday night with a 4-0 win over the Tornados.

Alex Boehm had a hat trick (three goals) for Jaier, which also got a goal from Randy Bautista.

Jaier, which is now 9-0-2 on the year, will receive a first round bye in the upcoming Blossomland Cup Tournament.

The Tornados fall to 4-3-4.

Real Dowagiac locked up the fifth seed in the tournament with an 8-0 win over Whirlpool United Tuesday night.

Juan Meza had a hat trick for Real Dowagiac, while Carlos Velasquez scored a pair of goals.

Samuel Hernandez, Mario Veloz and Octavio Hernandez also had goals as Real Dowagiac improved to 3-7-2.

The United fall to 2-8-1.

Real Dowagiac will play the fourth seed in the opening round of the tournament on July 15.

Athletic Jaier advances to the second round and will play on July 18.
