Richard Lyle Pascoe, formerly of Dowagiac, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2010, after a period of declining death while in Surin, Thailand.

He served with the USMC as an airman during the Vietnam War and was later stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle E. Pascoe; his mother, Betty Wade; a brother, Steven E. Pascoe; and a sister, Linda L. Pascoe.

Surviving are: his wife, Joyce Frugtneit Pascoe, of Singapore; a son, Shane R. Pascoe; daughters, Amanda Pascoe and Sarah Pascoe, both of Singapore; brothers and their wives, Lee and Marilyn Pascoe, of Oklahoma; Curt and Trudy Pascoe, of North Carolina; Keith and Cathy Pascoe, of Iowa; and Lyle Pascoe, of California; sisters and their husbands, Jessica and James Dubois, of Oregon; Rexanne and Les Leonard, of Iowa; Tracy Carpenter Wade and finace Brian Emery; Donna Gray and Donald, of Florida; and Marilyn and Dale Adair, of Nevada; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 3, at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in the Veterans Garden with Lloyd “Red” Barger officiating.

Family members will be available just before and just after the service.
