Barb and Terry Wegner now
Terry and Barbara (Angle) Wegner were honored at a surprise celebration for their 50th wedding anniversary.
The party was held at the home of their son, Tim, and his wife, Jody.
Along with Tim and Jody, the celebration was hosted by their daughter, Anne Wegner, and Denise Cattoor, both of St. Louis, Mo.
A surprise attendee was Pamela (Parsons) Aguirre, who came from El Paso, Texas.
She was the maid of honor for Barbara at their wedding.
One of Terry’s groomsmen was in attendance – Robert Huber of Commerce Township, Mich.
Terry and Barbara were married at First Christian Church on May 28, 1960, by the Rev. Proctor Riggins.
The Wegners then
They have lived in Dowagiac all their lives.
Terry retired from the automobile industry in 2001 and Barbara from Wolverine Mutual Insurance Co. in 2006.
The Wegners have five grandsons, Carson (Toni), Timothy and Michael Wegner and Jaycin and Jeremy Hutchings, and a great-granddaughter, Madelynn Wegner, all of the Dowagiac area.
