Big 16 Conference West Division baseball champion Lakeshore placed four players on the first team, while runners-up Niles and Mattawan had three and two players on the squad respectively.

St. Joseph also had four players on the first team and Benton Harbor a pair of players.
Named to the first team from Niles were Kevin Gross, David Garner and Matthew McLaughlin.

Honorable metion picks for the Vikings were Aaron Davis and Chris Mangus.

Lakeshore won the division with a 6-2 record, while Niles and Mattawan tied for second at 5-3. St. Joseph went 4-4 and Benton Harbor 0-8.

The Big 16 Conference West Division softball first team was dominated by champion Mattawan, Lakeshore and St. Joseph.

The Wildcats landed five players on the first team, with the Lancers and Bears each placing four players on the squad.

Defending champion Niles had Charissa Spear and Brittney Buti named to the first team.

Honorable mention selections for the Vikings were Brooke Wilson, Heather Daniels and Hannah Porterfield.
