The Niles JV baseball team split a doubleheader with St. Joseph on Thursday.

The Vikings won the opener 3-1, but dropped the nightcap 16-3.

Mitchell Dehn was the winning pitcher, his fourth of the season, as he tossed a two-hitter with eight strikeouts.

Zack Webber delivered a two-run double to drive in the winning runs.
Dallas Munger also had a double.

In the second game, Alex Grishaber took the loss.

Prescott Smith, Casey Burandt and Alec Landon all had hits for the Vikings.
Landon hit a two-run homerun.
