The Rev. Ira L. Fett, 82, of Grand Rapids, a veteran of World War II, has gone to be
with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 27, 2010.
The Rev. Ira Fett was a retired United  Methodist minister who served in several churches including Ann Arbor, Trenton and Saline. He enjoyed being with his family, boating and playing golf.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Marjorie (Birdsall); five children, Daniel Fett, of Los Angeles, Mary (John) Page, of Grand Rapids, Douglas (Denise) Fett, of Sparta, Martha (Jeff) Alexander, of Grand Haven and Steven Fett, of Saline; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Myron (Marilyn) Fett, of Marissa, Ill.; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen Fett, and sisters, Lola Mae Fett and Marilyn Albert. The funeral and committal will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. His family will receive visitors Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the Arsulowicz Brothers, Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd.
