David Garner allowed only one run and struck out eight to lead the Vikings baseball team to a 2-1 win over Sturgis in game one of a doubleheader.

Aaron Davis was two-for-three in game one for Niles.

Sturgis bounced back in game two, winning 5-4. Matthew McLaughlin tripled, and David Garner and Rashad Harris both had two singles for the Vikes.

Niles outhit the Trojans 10 to eight in the loss. The Vikings are now 11-5 on the year.
