Bobcats fall to Bees

BRIDGMAN – Visiting Brandywine was defeated by Bridgman in a Lakeland Conference match Monday afternoon 5-3.

The Bobcats picked up wins at No. 2 singles where Alyssa Robbins defeated Caroline Shauer 6-0 and 6-2; as well as No. 2 and No. 4 doubles.

Katie Robbins and Nichole Coshow defeated Greta Englund and Tiara Strauss 7-5 and 6-4. At No. 4 doubles, Lena Miles and Ashley DeJonge defeated Jasmine Gipson and Noelle Malevitis 6-4 and 6-1.

OTSEGO – Visiting Dowagiac picked up just one victory on Monday afternoon in its loss to Otsego in Wolverine Conference tennis.

The Chieftains’ lone win in a 7-1 loss to the Bulldogs came at No. 2 singles where Marquira Smith defeated Andrea Green 6-1 and 6-0.
