NILES – Burton “Buck” Cheney Sr. 87, of Niles, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2010, with his family by his side.

He worked a total of 25 years with Kawneer Co. After that closing in Niles he started his own business, “Dandy Truck Covers,” which he operated with his two sons, Burton Jr. and Bill Cheney, for 14 years.

Services will be on Tuesday, April 27, at 3 p.m. in Mission Hills Memorial Chapel with visitation starting at 1 p.m. Pastor Earl Boarders will be officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.

Those wishing to leave a memorial may do so to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Mission Hills Memorial Chapel.
