Victoria Vasquez of Dowagiac is engaged to be married Sept. 25, 2010, to Noah Daniel Pontius of Dowagiac.

They will exchange vows at 3 p.m. at First Christian Church in Dowagiac.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Hector and Lenore Vasquez of Dowagiac.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Larry and Harriet Pontius of Longwood, Fla.
The late Catherine Vickerman is the mother of the prospective groom.

Victoria graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in 1990.

Victoria served in the U.S. Army from 1992-1994 and graduated from National Business College in 1998.

Victoria is employed by Indiana University South Bend in the School of Education.

She has two daughters, Gabriella Adrianna Neumann and Danielle Lenore Pontius.
Noah graduated from DUHS in 1989.

Noah has a daughter, Danielle Lenore Pontius, and will soon be Gabriella’s stepdad.
