BANGOR – The Cassopolis varsity soccer team turned in an 8-0 win against a fellow first-year program in Bangor on Monday.

Both teams are making their debut as varsity teams, but the Rangers had the benefit of playing as a club team last year.

The Rangers outshot Bangor 19-7.

Chastity Williams had the first and last goals of the game with assists from Bjargey Olafsson, who knocked in five goals of her own.

Meagan Ruff scored one goal with an assist from Olafsson.
