COMSTOCK – The Buchanan softball team reached the finals of the Comstock Invitational on Saturday by defeating Portland 9-1 and Comstock 17-3.

In the title game, Portage Central defeated the Bucks 10-1.

Alexis Lenox was the winning pitcher in the first two games, while Rachel Downs took the loss in the title game.

Lenox homered in the first two games. The Bucks also got a double from Jacklyn Leiter against Portland, while Lenox and Downs both doubled against Comstock.

Downs had a triple against Portage Central in the title game.

The Bucks are now 4-1 on the season.
