Meth lab bust in Calvin Township

A methamphetamine lab was found in Calvin Township March 30.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team reported that detectives conducted an investigation into meth production. CCDET investigators located a dismantled meth lab, meth paraphernalia and numerous items of meth trash at a residence in the 67,000 block of Tharp Lake Road.

One adult male subject was arrested at the scene for maintaining a meth lab and production of hazardous waste.

The subject was lodged at the Cass County Jail for the offenses.  A hazardous waste disposal crew was called to the scene to dispose of some of the related waste.
