NOTRE DAME, Ind. – On Tuesday professional scouts from around the National Football League traveled to the Loftus Center on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.

Why? Because it was Pro Day and several former Irish players worked out in preparation for the upcoming draft.

Those players included James Aldridge, Raeshon McNeil, Sergio Brown, Eric Olsen, Paul Duncan, Robby Parris, Kyle McCarthy and Morrice Richardson.

Also working out were Scott Smith, Toryan Smith, David Grimes and Asaph Schwapp.
Paul Duncan, Golden Tate and Sam Young participated in position-specific drills only.
The players were tested in a variety of skills including vertical jump, broad jump, bench press, 40-yard dash, pro agility, 3-cone drill and 60-yard shuttle.

Former Irish quarterback Jimmy Clausen was also on hand, but did not take part in the drills.

Clausen will hold his own Pro Day next month.

Brown ran a pair of sub-4.5 times in the 40-yard dash, while Duncan, Richardson and Schwapp all had at least 30 repetitions in the bench press.
