The Edwardsburg Sports Complex annual spring Fundraiser is under way.

They are selling high quality hardwood mulch in 2 cubic foot bags. Choose from red, dark brown, black, or natural. Orders can be placed through April 15.

All orders must be pre-paid.

To order, contact Catherine Toms at cmtoms3@aol.com, or stop by the Edwardsburg Sports Complex office at 27566 US 12, Edwardsburg, MI 49112.  The office will be open every Saturday during the sale from 1-3 p.m.

Visit www.edwardsburgsportscomplex.org for information and order forms.

You may also purchase mulch from one of the area participants in EYSA, Edwardsburg Rocket Football or Edwardsburg Little League. Any current, past or future participant in one of these organizations, age 4 to 16, can qualify for great prizes by selling a minimum number of bags.

As an example, any player selling 150 bags can choose between a bus trip to a Chicago Cubs game, a $40 gift card or a bus trip to Michigan Adventure Amusement Park.
Other prizes are available for selling more.

This fundraiser is a great opportunity for the community to support the Complex, as well as a great way for the area athletes to earn prizes. Gardening time is just around the corner.  Place your mulch order through any sports participant, and it can be delivered to your home or business.

Edwardsburg Sports Complex completed the construction of irrigated soccer fields last fall. EYSA plans on using the fields for all league games this fall.

Other youth sports organizations will be able to use these fields for practices also.  Money raised by the mulch fundraiser will be used to develop the remaining 95 acres of athletic fields.
