Cora’s life began on Aug. 24, 1927, in Dowagiac, the daughter of William Franklin and Sarah Ann (Starrett) Pohlmann.
Cora, 82, of Coloma, was a graduate of Dowagiac Central High School.
She was united in marriage to Billy Berkley Clark on July 30, 1949, in Watervliet.
She worked as a telephone operator in Coloma for several years.
Cora was a member of the North Berrien Historical Society.
Her family includes: grandchildren, Timothy Engle of Niles, Heather Williams of Martinsville, Ind., and Emily Williams of Niles; sisters, Dorothy Bemus of Arizona and Henrietta Lace of Dowagiac; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
Cora passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at her home.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Clark, daughter Treva Marie Williams, sister Viola Pohlmann and brothers Leo and Floyd Pohlmann.
Her memorial service will be Saturday March 27, at 3 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Coloma.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Coloma Cemetery at a later date.
