Cora A. Clark, 82, of Coloma, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at her home.

Cora’s life began on Aug. 24, 1927, in Dowagiac, the daughter of William Franklin and Sarah Ann (Starrett) Pohlmann.

She was a graduate of Dowagiac Central High School.

Cora was united in marriage to Billy Berkley Clark on June 30, 1949, in Watervliet.

She worked as a telephone operator in Coloma for several years.

Cora was a member of the North Berrien Historical Society.

Her family includes: grandchildren, Timothy Engle of Niles, Heather Williams of Niles and Emily Williams of Martinsville, Ind.; sisters, Dorothy Bemus of Arizona and Henrietta Lace of Dowagiac; and her niece and caregiver, Sarah Beebe of Dowagiac.

Cora is preceded in death by: her husband, Billy Clark; daughter, Treva Marie Williams; sister, Viola Pohlmann; and brothers, Leo and Floyd Pohlmann.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at First Missionary Baptist Church, 295 Washington St., Coloma.
