Cora Ann Clark, 82, of Coloma died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at her home.

Cora’s life began August 24, 1927 in Dowagiac to William Franklin and Sarah Ann (Starrett) Pohlmann. She was a graduate of Dowagiac Central High School.

Cora was united in marriage to Billy Berkley Clark on June 30, 1949 in Watervliet. She worked as a telephone operator in Coloma for several years. Cora was a member of the North Berrien Historical Society.

Her family includes grandchildren, Timothy Engle, of Niles, Heather Williams, of Niles, and Emily Williams, of Martinsville, Ind.; sisters, Dorothy Bemus, of Arizona and Henrietta Lace, of Dowagiac; and her niece and caregiver, Sarah Beebe, of Dowagiac.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Clark; daughter, Treva Marie Williams; sister, Viola Pohlmann; and brothers Leo and Floyd Pohlmann.

Å memorial service will be held at 3 p.m Saturday, March 27 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 295 Washington St., Coloma.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Coloma Cemetery at a later date.
