Grannell, Sly earn All-West Division honors

Big 16 Conference West Division runner-up Niles placed a pair of players on the all-division squad, which was released this week.

Benton Harbor’s Deborah Meeks was one of three Tigers on the team. She was named the squad’s honorary captain.

Also selected for the division champion Tigers were Damonica Buford and Iesha Ellis.
Niles’ Nichole Sly and Jenna Grannell were picked for the first team, along with St. Joseph’s Katie Mavis, LeAnne Priebe and Erika Priebe.

Lakeshore’s Kaitlin Cornwell, as well as Mattawan’s Allie Havers and Alyssa McBride rounded out the squad.

Mattawan’s Troy Wright was named Coach of the Year.
