Leota H. Williams, 79, of 15872 Meadowview Drive, Buchanan died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at home of natural causes.

She was born March 26, 1930 in Pickford, Mich. She has lived here since 1992.
Leota attended Portage Road General Baptist Church in Niles. She was a beautician and retired after 20 years from General Motors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Williams; her parents, Herbert and Emily Hart; a brother, Norman Hart; and four sisters, Victoria, Lois, Earla and Neanie.

She is survived by a son, Michael (Debbie) Williams; daughter, Cheri (Glenn) Gubi; and sister, Edith Celestino, of Sault St. Marie, Ontario.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan with Lonnie Rhodes of Portage Road General Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.

Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 20 at Hoven Funeral Home.

A luncheon will follow the funeral service at Leota’s home in Buchanan.
