The Dowagiac Middle School eighth grade basketball team was defeated by Edwardsburg 24-7 on Monday.

Tarai Young led the team with four points, while Michaela Owen and Amanda Craft both scored two points.

The Chieftains were defeated by Lakeshore 41-3 on March 3.

Brittany O’Brien had two points and Candious Clabin had one point.

On March 1, Dowagiac was defeated by Vicksburg 24-19.

Hazel Kennedy had 10 points, O’Brien four points, Owen and Brianna McCuddy had two points.
