Tony Macik facing 15 years in prison

CASSOPOLIS – Cass County Prosecutor Victor Fitz announced this morning that on Monday, March 8, Tony MacikĀ  was convicted as charged on all felony steroid offenses pending against him in Cass County Circuit Court.

Macik will face up to 15 years in prison at his April 16 sentencing.

Facts established Macik ordered and received approximately 500 steroid pills from Naur, Poland.

The 29-year-old man’s plea confirmed that the crimes occurred at his 68570 Morton Drive Apartment in Ontwa Township.

Macik’s plea included the 15-year felony of possession with the intent to deliver steroids as well as two four-year felonies for possession of steroids.

As part of Macik’s plea agreement, a four-year weapons charge and three two-year firearms charges from the same incident were dismissed.

Cass County Circuit Judge Michael Dodge took Macik’s no-contest plea and will also sentence him in April.
