Dowagiac senior Torie Lowe became the first Chieftain to earn All-Wolverine Conference honors in any sport four consecutive years.

Lowe led the Chieftains and the Wolverine Conference in scoring this past season.

For the entire year, she averaged 17.2 points per game as she scored 344 points.

In her final game as a Chieftain, Lowe surpassed Dowagiac legend Edgar Wilson for second place on the all-time school scoring list.

Lowe ended up with 1,377 points. She trails only Katy Stuppy, who finshed her career with a school record 1,527.

Lowe is joined on the first team by a trio of Gull Lake players and two each from Plainwell, Otsego, Paw Paw and Three Rivers.

Gull Lake was the league champion with a perfect 18-0 record. It was the third straight season the Blue Devils have captured the Wolverine Conference crown.

Dowagiac’s Britnee Allerton was an honorable mention selection for the Chieftains.

Allerton averaged 7.9 rebounds a game for Dowagiac this past season.

The Chieftains finished fifth in the league with a record of 7-11.
