Lady Rangers get the better of Bees

BRIDGMAN – The Cassopolis girls’ basketball team defeated Bridgman in a Lakeland Conference clash 43-32.

Savannah Sullivan paced the Rangers with 15 points, six rebounds, two steals and two assists.

Damonica Kelly added 14 points, two rebounds, four steals and two assists, while Reece Ellison chipped in with 11 points, eight rebounds and two steals.

Cassopolis trailed 8-6 after one quarter of play, but rebounded to take a one-point (19-18) lead at halftime.

The Rangers found themselves trailing 24-23 heading to the fourth quarter, but exploded for 20 points, while holding the Bees to just eight.

Sullivan scored 10 of her 15 points in the final eight minutes of action, while Kelly and Ellison both finished with five points in the quarter.

Cass finished the regular season at 8-12.
