Three meth arrests made in the Edwardsburg area

The Cass County Drug Enforcement team announces that on Friday, Feb. 26, detectives acting on a tip of meth activity responded to an address on Elkhart Road in Ontwa Township.

After gaining entry into the home, detectives located an active methamphetamine lab and five inactive labs in the attic.

One male subject was located in the attic tending to the active meth lab.

Three male subjects in the home were arrested on charges relating to the manufacturing of meth and creating hazardous waste and possession of meth.

The three males ages 37,35 and 33 were all transported to the Cass County Jail.
Their names were withheld pending arraignment.

Detectives were assisted at the scene by the Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police Department.
