BATTLE CREEK – Each of the top four seeds advanced with ease to the Division 3 Michigan High School Athletic Association Team Wrestling semifinals today.

Top seed Dundee rolled to a 47-19 decision over Remus Chippewa Hills, while No. 2 seed Richmond defeated Roscommon 63-11.

No. 3 seeded Saginaw Swan Valley defeated Portland 48-28 and No. 4 seed Allendale ended Edwardsburg’s season with a 46-15 victory.

Dundee (37-1) will face Allendale (30-2) in one semifinal this morning at 9:30, while Richmond (46-4) and Swan Valley (31-3) will square off in the other semifinals.

The finals are scheduled for 4 p.m.

The Eddies picked up a pair of decisions to start the match as Devin Bywaters and Troy Duck defeated Kyle Homes and Joey Brower at 189- and 215-pounds respectively.

But from there it was all Allendale.

Allendale won the next five bouts to take a 22-6 lead before Edwardsburg’s Cameron Warren stopped the bleeding with a win over Connor Kroll at 130-pounds.

Allendale and Edwardsburg would split the next four matches leaving the Eddies trailing 28-15.

Terry Brasfield and Ryan Loupee picked up back-to-back wins at 140- and 145-pounds.
Allendale closed out the match with three straight pins to advance to the semifinals.
