The Dowagiac junior varsity boys’ basketball team routed visiting South Haven 83-56.
Craig Zebell and Chris Gantt both scored 15 points to lead a balanced Chieftain scoring attack.

Eric Charles and Brendon Murray finished with 14 and 13 points respectively.

Freshmen basketball
Dowagiac dropped a 70-47 decision to the visiting Rams Tuesday night.

Todd McIntyre finished with a team-high 13 points, while Brett Scanlon added 11 and Joey Pasternak eight.

Both teams return to action tonight as they travel to Paw Paw.

The freshmen game is slated for 6 p.m., with the JV contest to follow at 7:15.
