The three following individuals are who Cass County officials have determined to be the county’s “most wanted” for the the charges listed:

Chris Wares
Age: 34
Charges: Possession of cocaine, felony; delivery/manufacture marijuana; other misdemeanor charges. This is Wares’ first appearance on the Most Wanted list.

Lazaro Lopex Pereles
Age: 35
Description: 5’6″, 150 lb, black hair brown eyes
Charges: Open murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution (warrant from FBI, Detroit Field Office)
Details: A body was discovered in a bean field in Silver Creek Township in October 2008, which coincided with a Crime Stoppers tip of a homicide in Silver Creek. Through the investigation, it was determined that Pereles committed the crime. He fled to Mexico and hasn’t been seen since. He was listed in January’s Most Wanted list.

Jerry Allen Beathea
Age: 44
Description: 5’7″, 165 lb, black hair, brown eyes
Charges: Two counts of delivery/manufacturing cocaine (felony), possession of cocaine (felony). He was listed in January’s Most Wanted list.
