The Dowagiac freshmen and junior varsity boys’ basketball teams were defeated by Lakeshore on Saturday.

The freshmen team dropped a 58-31 decision to the Lancers, while the junior varsity was defeated 52-42.

Joey Pasternak led the Chieftains with 16 points. Todd McIntyre added five.

Buddy Newman led the junior varsity with 14 points. Brendon Murray added 10.

On Tuesday night, the Chieftain freshmen squad was defeated by host Otsego 55-33.
McIntyre led Dowagiac with 14 points.
