NILES – The Dowagiac Middle School wrestling team competed in a mini invitational Tuesday afternoon hosted by Brandywine.

“All we ask is that they continue to improve every time out,” Dowagiac coach Andy Crawley said.

Winning two matches on the night were Rey Vega, Caleb Sands, Dontae Murphy, Tom Smith, Ken Creameans, Trevor Leitz, Tristan Howard, Connor Howard and Rolando Lucio.

Also winning a match were Bryce Younger, David Morgan Jr., Caleb Zimmerman, Darek Mills, Austin Broda, Jason Weber, Carl Grant, Xavier Marquart, Andrew Lyle and Alex Hively.

The Chieftains return to action on Saturday when they travel to Stevensville for the Lakeshore Invitational.
