PLAINWELL – Visiting Dowagiac was no match for Plainwell Monday night in a Wolverine Conference make up contest.

The Chieftains (5-11, 5-9 Wolverine) were defeated 68-40.

Plainwell improves to 11-5 overall and 10-4 in league play with the win.

Torie Lowe led Dowagiac with 15 points, while Katie Lorenz scored a season-high 12 points.

Grace Howrigon led all scorers with 23 for the Trojans.

The Chieftains are back in action tonight as they host Otsego in another conference contest.
