CONSTANTINE – Senior Ralph Sater of Brandywine captured the 135-pound Division 4 district championship Saturday afternoon at Constantine High School.

Joining Sater at this week’s regional tournament will be teammates Arthur Morris and Jimmie Wright.

Morris and Wright both finished third at 103- and 112-pounds respectively.

Cassopolis’ Josh McCoy was the lone Ranger to advance to the regional level.

The top four wrestlers in each weight class advance.

Sater pinned Schoolcraft’s Zach VanZile in overtime to win his district championship.

Morris defeated Kevin Nelson of Benton Harbor Countryside 6-1 in the consolation finals, while Wright beat McCoy 14-1.

Wrestlers now move on to this Saturday’s regional tournament at Bangor High School.
