Buchanan knocks off Bees to improve to 5-9

BUCHANAN – Elizabeth Hein scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Buchanan girls’ basketball team to a 38-25 Lakeland Conference victory over visiting Bridgman Thursday night.

Amanda Wynn added 11 points, while both Julia LaBounty and Krystal Advance finished with five points.

Brandi Gareau led the Bees with nine points.

The Bucks are now 5-9 on the year and 4-4 in the league. Bridgman drops to 5-9 and 2-5 in conference play.
