Julia LaMonica, 75, of Chandler, Ariz. took her place at the heavenly banquet Jan. 28, 2010.

The family wishes to thank Claire and Mike Patterson and and cargivers Rey, Rosa, Phil and Dory for the kind, loving care they gave to Julia and wants them all to know that Julia and her family loves them in kind.  The family also wishes to thank the staff of Mercy Gilbert Hospital for the care provided for Julia in her last days and for the kindness and support extended to the family during that time.  May God bless all of you.
Her husband of 52 years, Jerry, preceded her on the journey to New Jerusalem.

Keeping her memory alive and bearing her spirit with them are her children, the Rev. Nicholas (Gail) and Michael; her grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew (Dawn), Catherine, Amy, Anthony and Alexandra; her sister, Kay Weimer (John); nieces, Shelia Jenkins (Brien), Karen Weimer and Maureen Hogue (Mark); and grandniece Kristen.
The family will celebrate Julia’s life Feb. 15, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Resthaven Park Mortuary and Cemetery, 4310 East Southern Ave., Phoenix, Ariz. with internment immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to aid in the effort to rescue and heal the Haitian people in their time of need.
