BERRIEN SPRINGS – The host Shamrocks delivered a 58-40 defeat to Edwardsburg in Lakeland Conference action.

The loss dropped the Eddies to 7-4 overall and 3-4 in the league.

The Shamrocks rebounded from their first loss of the season to improve to 10-1 on the year. Berrien Springs remains on top of the Lakeland Conference with a perfect 7-0 record.

The Shamrocks got out to an 18-4 lead and were never seriously threatened after that by the Eddies.

Berrien Springs led 31-20 at halftime.

Steve Felusme led the Shamrocks with a game-high 13 points.

Edwardsburg got 12 points from Kyle Dale and nine points from Jake Harroff.
