Niles F.C., a soccer club that serves the Michiana area, is entering its second season as a part of the Western Michigan Youth Soccer Association.

The club will be hosting a registration on Saturday. The registration will be at the main entrance at Niles High School between 10 a.m. and noon.

All registrants need to bring a birth certificate and a 1-inch by 1-inch picture. The club is open to all players from Niles, Buchanan, Cassopolis, Edwardsburg, South Bend, Mishawaka and the surrounding area.

Roster spots are available on the U19-17 team, as well as the U16, U15, U14, U13 and U12 teams. Teams are determined by a player’s age on July 31.

Games begin in April and continue into June with practices starting in late February.

The season consists of eight contests and may include a summer tournament.

The cost per player is $100, which includes registration, insurance, referee fees and uniforms.

If an interested player is unable to attend the meeting, they are encouraged to contact Brent “Pugsly” Wright at (269) 591-5188 or at coachwright@prodigy.net.
