Buchanan will be the host of the Class B Boys’ District Basketball tournament, which will begin in March.

Wrestling
The Division 3 District Wrestling Tournament will be held in Dowagiac on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

In the opening round, host Dowagiac will face Buchanan, while Edwardsburg will take on Berrien Springs. Both matches will begin at 6 p.m.

The championship match will begin 10 minutes following the conclusion of the last semifinal.

Girls basketball
Dowagiac will face rival Lakeshore in the opening round of the Class B Girls’ District Basketball Tournament that it will host.

The Chieftains and Lancers will square off in the second game of the night on Monday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m.

The opening game will pit Edwardsburg against St. Joseph at 5:30 p.m.

Winners advance to Wednesday’s (March 3) semifinals.

The winner of the Dowagiac-Lakeshore contest will face Berrien Springs at 5:30 p.m., while the Edwardsburg-St. Joe winner will face Buchanan at 7:30.

The finals are slated for Friday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m.

Boys basketball
Buchanan will host the Class B Boys’ District Basketball Tournament beginning on Monday, March 8.

Dowagiac will face former coach Greg Blomgren and the St. Joseph Bears in the evening’s first game at 5:30 p.m.

Host Buchanan and Berrien Springs will meet at 8 p.m.

The winners will move on to the semifinals on Wednesday, March 10.

The Dowagiac-St. Joe winner will face Lakeshore at 5:30 p.m., while the Buchanan-Berrien winner takes on Edwardsburg at 8 p.m.

The title game will be played on Friday, March 12 at 7 p.m.

Tickets for all Michigan High School Athletic Association district tournaments are $5 per person. No league passes will be honored.
