NILES – James “Jimmy” E. Werblow, 61, of Niles, passed away at his residence, surrounded by his family and friends, on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Jimmy was the chief maintenance supervisor at NCP Coatings in Niles, where he worked for more than 38 years. He was a licensed jet mechanic, allowing him to work on the company airplane, which was a joy of his life.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at Brown Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior.

A reception celebrating Jimmy’s life will be on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 5:30 p.m. at the NCP Coatings hangar at the Niles airport on Lake Street.
