BERRIEN SPRINGS – Another pair of Lakeland Conference wrestling teams stepped up to the plate against Edwardsburg only to fall to the Eddies.

Edwardburg defeated rival Cassopolis 78-0 and then knocked off host Berrien Springs 46-18.

The Rangers were also defeated by Coloma 79-6.

The Eddies picked up a pin or a forfeit at all but two weight classes against the Rangers.
At 119-pounds, Caleb Watson defeated Lucky Thammavongsa 13-10, while at 135-pounds, Branden Parsons decisioned Patrick Allen 8-3.

Against Berrien Springs, Ivan Shaw, Michael Kempton, Cameron Warren, Lane Smous, Parsons, Terry Brasfield, Wade Smous, Bradley Brasfield, Devon Bywaters and Stephen Coble were all winners.

The Rangers’ lone win against Coloma was secured by Shauntell Gilliam with a pin.
