Cassopolis swept by Coloma in Lakeland Conference action

COLOMA – The Cassopolis girls’ basketball team was defeated by host Coloma Friday night in a make-up contest.

The Lady Rangers fell to the Comets 44-33 in Lakeland Conference action.

Cassopolis dropps to 3-5 overall and 0-4 in the conference.

Damonica Kelly led the Lady Rangers with 12 points. Savannah Sullivan added nine points.
Julie Timm led Coloma and all scorers with 20 points.

Cassopolis returns to action tonight against visiting Bridgman.

Cassopolis got outscored 13-10 in the fourth quarter Friday night as host Coloma picked up a 52-44 Lakeland Conference victory in boys’ basketball action.

The Rangers drop to 4-5 overal and 1-3 in league play.

Nate Hartline scored a team-high 25 points in a losing effort for the Rangers.

Angelo Burmeister added 12.

Coloma was led by T.J. Scott’s game-high 26 points.

The Rangers will host defending Lakeland Conference champion Bridgman on Friday night.
