STEVENSVILLE – Host Lakeshore outscored Buchanan 35-11 in the second half to take a 53-31 non-conference girls’ basketball victory Tuesday night.

The Lady Bucks led 10-6 after eight minutes of action and 20-18 at halftime but could not keep pace with the Lancers in the second half.

Lakeshore (2-6) grabbed a 10-point advantage (36-26) by the end of the third quarter and never looked back as it outscored Buchanan 17-5 in the final stanza.

Colleen Carlson led a balanced Lancer attack wtih 12 points, while Stephanie Eagle added 10.

The Lady Bucks were led by Elizabeth Hein’s eight points. Amanda Wynn finished with seven.
